Best's score surpassed the previous No 11 Test world record of 75 made by India's Zaheer Khan against Bangladesh in 2004.
The Guinness world record for the Most wickets taken in cricket Test matches was set by Muttiah Muralitharan (Sri Lanka), who is the leading Test match wicket-taker, with 800 wickets in 133 matches from 28 August 1992 to 22 July 2010.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most sixes hit by an individual batsman in a Test cricket career: 100, by Adam Gilchrist (b. 14 November 1971, Australia) in 96 matches between 1999-2008.
Tino Best made 95, the highest score by a No 11 batsman in a Test match, as West Indies were bowled out for 426 on the fourth day of the third Test against England at Edgbaston.
Best added 143 for the final wicket with wicketkeeper Denesh Ramdin, who completed his second test hundred to remain 107 not out in a West Indies first innings total of 426 in the rain-interrupted match.
England have already won the series 2-0.
