 Longest parade of electric vehicles-Bay Harbor sets world record  
  BAY HARBOR,MI,USA --The Bay Harbor Foundation, with the help of Global Electric Motorcars (GEMs), had more than 200 electric vehicles drive in-line for two miles during the the Bay Harbor Vintage Car and Boat Festival-setting the world record for the Longest parade of electric vehicles.   (enlarge photo)

  Longest Cucumber-world record set by Yitzhak Yazdanpana

  PETAH TIKVA, Israel -- Israeli Yitzhak Yazdanpana has grown a three-foot, ten-inch long cucumber ( 46.5 inches, about 118 cm )- setting the new world record for the Longest Cucumber.

   Longest BLT sandwich-Bradley County Chamber of Commerce sets world record
  WARREN, AR, USA -- Residents in Bradley County put on their gloves to make a 169-foot-long BLT (bacon, lettuce, and tomato) sandwich, using 60 pounds of sliced Bradley Tomatoes, 300 pounds of "Arkansas Tyson bacon" and 80 pounds of lettuce.       (enlarge photo)

  Largest slab of chocolate fudge-Lansing Community College sets world record
  LANSING, MI, USA -- LCC culinary professor William Nicklosovich, Crosby and a team of Lansing Community College students created a slab of fudge that weighed 5,500 pounds-setting the world record for the Largest slab of chocolate fudge.

  Largest Chicken Egg-world record set in China
  SUIHUA, Heilongjiang Province, China -- Zhang Yinde, an employee of the Forestry Bureau of Suiling County, owns an ordinary hen which laid a 6.3 centimeters wide and 9.2 cm long egg, and weighed 201 grams, three times heavier than an ordinary egg-setting the world record for the  Largest Chicken Egg.   Fastest transcontinental flight in a LSA-world record set by Matt Hansen and Jessica Scharle
EL CAJON,CA,USA--Pilots Matt Hansen, 23, and Jessica Scharle, 24, successfully completed a transcontinental flight in a Light Sport Airplane (LSA) from Jacksonville, FL to El Cajon, CA within a single day-setting the world record for the fastest transcontinental flight in a Light Sport Airplane (LSA).    The pair departed Cecil Field Monday morning at 0601 EDT, made five stops along the way, and touched down at Gillespie Field near San Diego at 2222 PDT for an elapsed time of 19 hours and 21 minutes,

   South Salem, USA -- Marilyn Boyle, 70, has 6,652 paper napkins, organized in 26 alphabetized categories, from airlines to weddings-setting the world record for the Largest Napkin collection. (enlarge photo)
    Among the categories of her collection are the obvious, such as baby showers, birthdays and holidays. One of her favorite decorations is flowers, with 815 napkins catalogued.
