Montpellier, France -- Dmitry Arsenyev, 16, an Xpogo pro athlete from St. Petersburg, Russia, achieved 15 consecutive backflips on a pogo stick while in France exhibiting at the F.I.S.E. competition
at 2 Esplanade Europe in Montpellier, France, setting the new world record for the Most consecutive backflips on a pogo stick,
according to the World Record Academy: www.worldrecordacademy.com/.

Arsenyev's stellar achievement of 15 backflips, obliterated Fred Gryzbowski's previous Guinness world record of 12.
Guinness World Records also recognized the world record for the most people performing synchronized backflips on pogo sticks: 11, achieved at Pogopalooza in Costa Mesa, California, USA.
A pogo stick is a simple, single-spring cylinder with two footrests, but some people aren't capable of balancing their disparate equilibrium on the head of that spring.
