The event was used as a fund raiser for
his deceased friends family.
Cunningham's friend Gerardo Urbina was
tragically killed in July, when he was electrocuted and died
on the campus of UNCG. The former Marine leaves behind a wife
and three children. Rikki raised $2,238.49 for the Urbina
Children's fund, this was all heart!!
Bar manager, Louise Gillespie, jumped at
the opportunity to help. "My hat’s off to Rikki,” said Gillespie.
“It's a really big deal to try and go the days straight shooting
pool. I think what makes it a little more important is a lot
of people, they'll have something for charity. But Rikki's
actually physically doing something he doesn't have to do
it."
The bar locked its doors from 4:00am-7:00 am
each night, locking in him, his opponents and his witnesses.
The allotment of 5 a minute break each hour was given. He
had a nurse check his vitals and blood sugar.
